There are many styles of transmission towers, none of which have their own functions and uses includes a variety of types such as wine-glass type tower, cat’s-head type tower, ram’s horn tower and drum tower.

1.Wine-glass type tower

2. Cat’s-head type tower

It is also a commonly used tower type for 110kV and above voltage level transmission lines. Its advantage is that it can effectively save the line corridor.

3. Ram’s horn tower

Sheep’s horn tower is a kind of transmission tower, named by its image like sheep’s horns. Generally used for tension-resistant tower.

4. Drum tower

Drum tower is a double-circuit transmission line commonly used tower, tower left and right each three wires, respectively, constitute a three-phase AC line.
